Request a New Version

You have received sufficient feedback and want to start a revision of the asset. As the owner, you request a new version.

1. Open the review, see Find and Open Review.

2. At the bottom right, click the Request new Version button.

   The Request New Version dialog opens.

3. In the Uploader field, select a user as the uploader.

   The user who uploaded the most recent version of the asset is automatically added to the list. In the case of a Media Pool asset, the original uploader from the Media Pool is displayed. However, you can select a different uploader for each version.

4. Optional: Enter a date for the revision in the field Due date. This date is shown to the uploader in the widget on the start page in the Version upload due column, see Start Page.

5. In the Optional Message field, enter detailed information for the uploader and what to consider for the revision.

6. Exit the dialog with the button Request.

You have requested a new version for the review. The review is in the status New Version Requested. All participants are informed about this via e-mail. The uploader is also informed about the request to revise the asset for a new version.
